First thoughts on the Anker Solix X1 Battery

Last month we had the pleasure of working on a project in Middleton St George, installing solar PV as well as the new Anker Solix X1 Battery. This immediately got us excited as this new battery is one of the best-looking systems on the market. Jay took charge installing 10 JA 435s completed in solar skirt to the roof whilst Dan worked on the Anker Solix X1 Battery below. The battery was fitted with a 3.68kW inverter with two 5 kW hour vpower modules, for a total of 10kW hours of storage.

But why were we so impressed by the Anker Solix? What made it stand out from the other systems available?

To put it simply, it’s the only product on the market that isn’t just “a white box”. Nearly every other model of battery storage stands out against UK housing, being obvious and can sometimes be an eyesore. This model has the power and looks to fit seamlessly into any home, without being too obtrusive. The matte screen on it is excellent, showing you all the generation figures, battery percentages, and what your home is currently using. It also comes with an EPS socket, providing backup power in the case of a power outage.

But it wasn’t just us that were impressed with the system. Our client Abby, whose home we were working on, had a few things to say about the work being carried out. Check out her video below:

So, would we recommend choosing the Anker Solix over some of the other models on the market? It’s all down to your preferences. Take into account the price, home needs and look before jumping into any renewables purchase, as they can often be a significant investment (that you don’t want to get wrong!) As you can see from Abby’s testimonial piece, we want the best for you. We bring professionalism to every job we work on (with a hint of humour) to ensure that you are left with a clean install with no mess. Get in touch with us today to book your renewable install.
